In the first of the five matches, the North Koreans took a 3-0 halftime lead in Mongolia before coasting to a 4-1 aggregate lead.
Hong Kong took a road win over East Timor in Indonesia, 3-2. After taking a 2-0 lead on an own goal, Hong Kong held the lead for good.
Qatar played a tight match with underdog Sri Lanka in the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo. After a scoreless first half, a goal midway through the second period was all that Qatar needed to notch a road win.
China stomped all over Myanmar at home in Foshan, 7-0.
Bahrain jumped over Malaysia from the outset, starting off with two goals before the Malaysians answered with one in stoppage time. Bahrain regained its dominance in the second half and won by a final tally of 4-1.
All ten teams resume their ties on October 28.
